February 2008.- Collaboration in the design of the book Elogio de la palabra (Praise of the Word), apart from the illustration of the story of Jasmina Khadra and a short text with illustration as an old student of I.E.S.Albero.
I.E.S. Albero has wanted to commemorate its 20 anniversary as secondary school with the publication of Elogio de la palabra (Praise of the Word), celebrating education, reading, the curiosity to learn. The book contains texts of current students, old students, lectures, old lectures, politicians, philosophers (Savater, José A. Marina, Rubert de Ventòs…), writers (Saramago, Miguel Delibes, Vargas Llosa, John Updike, Ken Follet, Noah Gordon, Sergio Ramírez, Ernesto Cardenal, Laura Restrepo, P.D. James, Tom Sharpe, Anne Perry, Antonio Gala, Muñoz Molina, Pérez Reverte, Vila Matas, Fernando Arrabal, Elvira Lindo, Rosa Montero, Sánchez Dragó, Álvaro Pombo, Alberto Manguel..., more than 170, Spanish and foreigners, in 20 languages), musicians (Daniel Barenboim, Sánchez Verdú, Carlos Álvarez…), academicians (Rodríguez Adrados, Ignacio Bosque...), international University Lectures (Noam Chomsky, Harold Bloom, Paul Preston, Stanley Payne, David Crystal...), scientists (10 Nobel Prizes, 6 Príncipe de Asturias Prize), journalists… All of them have written to the students about reading, education, the need to know.
